Urgent Update…

Country singer Sundance Head, known for his time on American Idol (2007) and The Voice (2016), was injured in a shooting accident on his Texas ranch. His agent, Trey Newman, confirmed that he was airlifted to a hospital, though his injuries were not life-threatening.

According to his wife, Misty, the incident occurred while he was retrieving his .22 rifle. The firearm slipped from his grasp, struck his Jeep, and accidentally discharged. The bullet became lodged in fatty tissue but avoided hitting any vital organs. While emergency surgery was considered, doctors may opt to leave the bullet in place.

Misty asked fans for prayers, calling on “Prayer Warriors” to support his recovery. At the time of the accident, Head had been hunting alone, with plans for his family to join him later. His exact condition remains unclear.
