Tammy Slaton, star of 1000-Lb. Sisters, has unveiled her remarkable transformation, shedding 440 pounds and confidently posing in a dark blue swimsuit alongside her friend, psychic medium Haley Michelle.
After years of struggling with obesity, Tammy now enjoys newfound freedom, no longer relying on a walker, wheelchair, or oxygen support. “I don’t even need it at night anymore,” she shared, celebrating her improved health.
While many praised her journey, some responses were negative, but Tammy remains focused on her well-being. Since undergoing bariatric surgery in July 2022, her weight has dropped from 725 to 285 pounds.
Beyond her personal success, Tammy hopes to inspire others. “By sharing our stories, we show people they’re not alone in their weight loss journey,” she said. Dr. Eric Smith of the Kentucky Bariatric Institute commended her progress, emphasizing that her biggest victory is living a healthier, happier life.
