Despite rumors suggesting otherwise, Kanye West and Bianca Censori were not kicked out of the 2025 Grammy Awards, PEOPLE confirms.
Following their red carpet appearance, speculation spread that the couple had been escorted out. However, sources reveal that West, who was nominated for Best Rap Song for Carnival from Vultures 1, simply chose to leave after walking the carpet.
West later posted—and deleted—photos from the night, captioning one with “love story.”
The rapper, 47, and his wife, 30, caused a stir when they arrived, with West dressed in all black while Censori wore a long fur coat, which she later removed to reveal a sheer, nude-hued dress without undergarments.
West’s attendance marked his first Grammys appearance in a decade. Recently, he credited his daughter North for reigniting his passion for music, sharing a heartfelt post about making beats for her album.
