I’ve been happily married to my husband, James (37M), for a year. A month ago, his teenage son moved in for the summer, and yesterday, I found a phone hidden in my closet recording me after my shower. Playing the video revealed my stepson placing it there. When confronted, he tearfully admitted he was trying to find where I kept my wallet. My husband defended him, blaming emotional instability from his parents’ divorce, and refused to send him back to his mom or arrange counseling. Feeling violated and unsafe, I told my husband it’s either me or his son in the house.
