Inside the tough and challen..

Pattie Mallette, born April 2, 1975, in Stratford, Ontario, is widely recognized as the mother of pop sensation Justin Bieber. However, her life is a testament to resilience. She endured tragedy early, losing her sister at age 2, and faced a childhood marked by abuse and hardship. By 14, she struggled with substance use, theft, and school expulsion. Following a suicide attempt at 17, she turned to faith and began rebuilding her life.

At 18, Pattie became a single mother, raising Justin in low-income housing with her parents’ support. She nurtured his musical talent, enrolling him in the 2007 Stratford Star competition and sharing his performances online—ultimately launching his global career.

Her 2012 memoir, Nowhere But Up, chronicles her journey of faith and motherhood. While fame tested their relationship, they have since reconciled. Pattie now celebrates Justin’s growth, faith, and maturity, inspiring many with her story of perseverance and grace.
